This Monkey in Fla. Was Just Eating Some Mail Out of a Mailbox

SANFORD, FL (FOX NEWS)Cops were called to a Sanford, Florida neighborhood when residents reported that a monkey was eating mail out of a mailbox.

Turns out Zeek is the pet of someone who lives nearby and had gotten loose.

Officers were able to keep Zeek occupied with a bottle of water while they waited for his owner to pick him up.

The Sanford Police Department also posted a few videos this morning, showing Zeek having some fun on a traffic sign and on top of their patrol car.

Zeek appeared to be well behaved during his brief run-in with the law.
