A pregnant woman and her child have died after they were overtaken by flash floods during severe storms Thursday afternoon.
Residents in Westville, New Jersey are recovering from an overnight storm that dumped buckets of rain and resulted in damaging flooding.
Overnight storms sparked flooding across the area, including Berks County, where cars were swept through a parking lot.
Flooding and damage caused by overnight rain and storms snarled traffic in New Jersey Thursday morning and caused PATCO to suspend service.
The Mississippi River has been widening the levee breach and floodwaters have been slowly approaching homes, officials said. Water from some creeks and tributaries has already flooded some houses.
