American Airlines flight returns to Philly after mechanical issues discovered

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) - According to American Airlines, a flight headed to Frankfurt, Germany from Philadelphia has returned to Philadelphia International Airport.

Due to a mechanical issue, the pilot decided to turn around and head back to Philly.

Flight AA750 is due back around 1 a.m. There are 241 passengers and 12 crew members are on board.
