PARCC testing canceled across NJ due to technical outage

Technical issues have caused a cancelation of PARCC testing in New Jersey School districts statewide Wednesday, according to the state's Board of Education.

Schools affected by the outage received and email from the test's vendor, Pearson, alerting them that they were working to resolve the issue that resulted in the outage.

The newest standardized test in New Jersey, which stands for Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers, covers math and language arts.

The New Jersey Board of Education is expected to release a statement later in the day.
