Police invesitgate hit and run in Cobbs Creek

COBBS CREEK (WTXF) - Police in Cobbs Creek are investigating a hit and run that sent a bicyclist to the hospital.

The incident occurred in the area of 52 nd and Spruce Streets around 3:00 a.m.

The 46-year-old male victim was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike, and was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.. Police say the victim is talking and is expected to be okay, after suffering head injuries and possibly fracturing his ribs.

Police say they do not have a description of the vehicle, and there were no witnesses.
