Man dead after being shot 7 times

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are searching for the gunman who shot a man seven times overnight in North Philadelphia, killing him.

It happened at about 1am along the 1000 block of W. Clearfield Street.

The victim was not identified but said to be in his 20s. He was rushed to the hospital, but died a short time later.

So far, there is no motive for the shooting.
