$1M Powerball ticket sold in Roxborough

A $1 million winning Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball ticket was sold in Roxborough, lottery officials announced Monday.

The winning ticket from the Saturday, March 16 drawing was sold at ShopRite of Roxborough on Ridge Avenue.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 30-34-39-53-67 but not the red Powerball, 11, to win the $1 million prize, less applicable withholding.

The retailer earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners hae a year from the drawing date to claim prizes. The next drawing will be held Wednesday, March 20.
