2 wanted for shootout on street, hitting several vehicles with bullets

Two men are wanted after a shootout on the street on Tuesday afternoon. Bullets hit several vehicles, but nobody was wounded.

Philadelphia police said a man in a Hunting Park grocery store heard the shots from outside, in the 700 block of W. Butler Street.

They said he walked to the front where another man ran inside, saying "someone was trying to kill him." That man then ran out of the store.

The shopper eventually went out and noticed a bullet hole in the hood of his vehicle. Several other parked vehicles were hit by gunfire.

Police released surveillance video showing two men in a green Dodge or Plymouth minivan. One got out and fired several shots in the 3700 block of N. 7th Street. Police said he was aiming at several people they have not identified.

Then, the other gunman fired several shots. Both got back in the minivan and got away.

Police say the wanted men were wearing black masks and black hooded sweatshirts.
