Carson Wentz honors local boy who passed away from cancer

Philadelphia Eagles Carson Wentz shared a special bond with a local boy who lost his battle with cancer earlier this year. The boy was only 10 years old when he passed away. Each game this season, Wentz has honored the boy in a very special way.

On Sunday, ESPN shared the story of Lukas Kusters, of Wilmington Del., who earned the nickname the 'Dutch Destroyer' because of his football skills.

In May, Lukas met his idol Carson Wentz and Jordan Hicks. Sadly, Lukas passed away in June 2017. He was buried in Wentz's jersey.

Wentz wears a bracelet at each game as a tribute to Lukas that reads "Dutch Destroyer" on his left throwing arm. If you wish to purchase one, please click here.

On Monday, Lukas' family was invited to the game and met up with Wentz before the game against the Redskins, according to ESPN.
