Chester Police are asking for help in identifying a suspected purse snatcher

CHESTER, Pa. (WTXF) - Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a purse snatching.

Chester Police say the man took the purse from a woman while she was doing laundry.

Authorities say the incident took place Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at a laundromat on the 2900 block of West 9th Street.

Police say the suspect took the victim's purse from a table and then ran. They are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident or the person to contact Chester Police.
