FBI, police search for man wanted in multiple bank robberies

The FBI and police are searching for a man wanted in connection with multiple bank robberies in less than two weeks.

Surveillance video caught a bank robber as he handed a teller a threatening note, demanding money at a Wells Fargo bank in Trevose on Feb. 19. The FBI identified the man as 50-year-old Michael Edmondson.

Then, on Feb. 24, he allegedly robbed the Citizens Bank branch inside the Giant Food Store on West Township Line Road in Havertown.

Authorities say he also robbed a Wells Fargo in King of Prussia. Edmondson is under investigation for an additional bank robbery in Philadelphia, according to investigators.

Anyone with information about Edmondson's location is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000. There is a reward for information leading to his capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
