Last dog left from Texas adoption drive gets her forever home

A dog who was the only pup left after an adoption drive in Houston, Texas, has found her forever home, according to a Facebook post from First Responder Animal Rescue.

Nala, a boxer/labrador mix, was also the last of her litter to be adopted from the animal rescue. "Nala has been adopted by an experienced dog owner. She will have have another rescued Boxer/Lab mix to play with at home," a post stated.

On September 16, a video was shared of Nala after an adoption event where she was the only dog left. The rescue then began a campaign on Facebook to get Nala adopted, which proved successful. According to a post on September 18, the dog had a successful first night in her new home.
