$456M Powerball ticket sold in Pennsylvania

Check those Powerball tickets, if that hasn't been done yet. Someone in Pennsylvania is quite a bit richer, more than 450 million dollars richer. The winning Powerball ticket for Saturday, March 17 was sold in Pennsylvania. The question is where was that ticket sold?

FOX 29 wanted to find the Powerball winner, so why not go door-to-door in Drexel Hill and see if anyone there had the luck of the Irish?

"I don't think so, if I did win, I'm completely unaware of that," Thomas Karolyi said, when asked if he won the Powerball.

But, someone, somewhere in Pennsylvania is a mega millionaire after the drawing.

"Hopefully somebody won, somebody that needed it," said Jim Leo.

What about Michael?

"A friend and I had gone in for 10 tickets. I texted him, he texted me on the way home. We didn't win," Michael said.

Sunny Kumar, manager of a Gulf station on State Road, says, typically, if the store sold a winning ticket, a message pops up in the computer. There is no message on the computer.

James Sicoli says he's been playing Scratch-Offs for years. He turned in a winning card March 18 for just shy of $150.00.

"You spend all money on Powerball and what are the odds of Powerball? You look on the back of the Scratch-Off card and it says one in every 3.59, so that means I'm winning at least $10.00," Sicoli said,

FOX 29 asked Karolyi, "What would you say to the winner?"

"Uh, congratulations. I'm single if you're a woman," Karolyi replied.

The odds of Thomas Karolyi scoring a date out of the news story? Hard to say.
