A.C. Police offer reward after shots fired at first responders

Police in Atlantic City are continuing to their attempts to track down the suspect who fired gunshots at firefighters responding to a scene last week.

On July 11, officers responded to the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue following a Shot Spotter Alert. When officers arrived on scene they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

While first responders were tending to the victim, they heard several gunshots fired in their direction. Evidence of the gunfire was found on the 500 block of Hobart Aveune, more than a block from the original shooting scene.

The Atlantic City Police Department is offering a reward for information to an arrest and conviction of the person responsible for either incident.
