Armed pizza shop robbery suspects sought in Holmesburg

Police are asking for the public's help locating two suspects wanted in connection with an armed pizza shop robbery in Holmesburg.

It happened just after midnight on Sunday, April 29, when the suspects entered John's New Pizza on the 4300 block of Megargee Street. Surveillance video captures one suspect pointing a handgun at the employees, ordering them on the ground and demanding money from the registers. One suspect then fires a shot into the floor.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects can be seen fleeing the store.

Police describe one suspect as a black man between 25 and 30 years old who is 5'10" and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with 'Pennsylvania' written on the front, as well as black pants, shoes and gloves while armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a black man who is 5'8" and has a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black hat with 'CK' written on it, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.
