Body of missing Airman discovered in Dover canal

DOVER, DE (WTXF) - Authorities say they have located the body of a missing Senior Airman in Dover Delaware.

A missing persons investigation was launched for Keifer Huhman back on February 8 th , after he failed to report for duty at the Dover Airforce base.

Around noon Thursday, officials received a tip from a local fisherman about the discovery of a body in the C&D Canal along Dutch Neck road.

Medical examiners later identified the body as Huhman.

Huhman was a member of the 436th Communications Squadron.
