Cosby's lawyers appeal charges to state superior court

Bill Cosby's lawyers are once again attempting to have the sexual assault case against the comedian dismissed

Cosby is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Temple University employee Andrea Constand back in 2004 inside of his Cheltenham home.

Cosby's lawyers claim they had an agreement with a former prosecutor that the 78-year old would never be charged.

Earlier this month, a judge rejected those claims.

Now, lawyers for the comedian have filed an appeal to the state superior court.

His legal team also tried to get Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele dismissed from the case.

That motion was also denied by a judge.

Cosby's lawyers are appealing that decision, as well.
