Customer, clerk bound in Manayunk consignment shop robbery

Philadelphia Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Manayunk thrift store that ended with a clerk and a customer zip tied in the store.

The incident occurred just before 6:00 a.m. on the 4300 block of Main Street at Remix Consignment.

Police say three suspects, one of them armed with a gun, entered the store and zip tied a 32-year-old woman who was working in the store, and a 65-year-old customer.

Once the pair was tied, the suspects made their way through the store grabbing $10,000 in merchandise including a mink coat, shoes, and purses. $150 cash was also taken from the store.

Investigators believe the suspects left the scene in a silver vehicle.
