Delaware Trooper Involved in Multi-Car Crash

NEWARK, DEL.- WTXF - Delaware State Police are investigating a crash Monday in Newark that involved five vehicles, including that of a Delaware State Trooper.

Several people are reported injured in the crash, which took place at the intersection of South College Avenue (DE Rt. 896) and Old Baltimore Pike. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, State Police said.

The intersection is closed to all traffic and is "expected to be for some time."
