Fraternal Order of Police blasts Clinton ahead of DNC

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - "They're letting people on the agenda that don't have all the facts. Some of the cases are still ongoing."

Philly's Fraternal Order of Police is furious over what they call an insulting lack of representation in a scathing email.

The FOP accusing Clinton of insulting the family members of fallen officers by not including them on the list of approved speakers.

THE FOP WRITES IN PART QUOTE: "It is sad that to win an election Mrs. Clinton must pander to the interests of people who do not know all the facts, while the men and women they seek to destroy are outside protecting the political institutions of this country. Mrs. Clinton you should be ashamed of yourself if that is possible."

It appears the FOP has taken issue with the campaign's plans to include among others the mothers of Eric Garner and Michael Brown, as well as Sandra Bland. All African Americans who died during encounters with police.

Vice President Roosevelt Poplar says the moms have a right to speak as do the mothers and wives of murdered officers.

"Let it be fair across the board."

The Clinton campaign responded with a spokesman insisting in a statement to FOX 29: "As Hillary Clinton has said, we need to support heroic police officers who put their lives on the line every day as well as listen to the voices of mothers who have lost their children. We look forward to highlighting the courageous efforts of law enforcement."

The campaign announced former Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey as a planned speaker, a name not on the original list.

"We hope we sent the message to them to let them know how we're feeling and how our police families are feeling," Poplar said.

More names to come including local figures.
