Funerals begin for victims of fatal crash in South Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The first of three funerals will be held Tuesday for the victims of a fatal head-on crash.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. for 36-year-old Joseph Ferry at St. Monica Roman Catholic Church in South Philadelphia.

Ferry's fiancee, 35-year-old Kelly Wiseley, of Glenolden, was also killed in the crash. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in Springfield.

Also killed was 31-year-old Dennis Palandro, of Morton. His wife, Nicole, remains in critical condition with a broken pelvis.

The funeral for Dennis Palandro will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. Monica Roman Catholic Church.

The driver accused in the crash, 29-year-old Keith Campbell, of Bear, Delaware, was charged with three counts of vehicular homicide and related offenses. Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.

Since the crash, multiple fundraisers have been set up on behalf of the victims and their families via GoFundMe.

The GoFundMe for Nicole Palandro raised more than $120,000 as of Tuesday morning. The GoFundMe for the family of Kelly Wiseley raised more than $30,000. The GoFundMe for Joseph Ferry raised more than $28,000.

Angelo Lutz, of the Kitchen Consigliere Cafe, has also set up a foundation to honor Ferry and Dennis Palandro, both members of the South Philadelphia String Band with the Palandro Ferry Memorial Foundation.
