Man dies after falling off Henry Avenue Bridge

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WTXF) - A man died after falling into the Wissahickon Creek after falling off the Henry Avenue Bridge Thursday morning.

According to police, a 20-year-old white man was sitting on the wall of the bridge when he fell backwards into the river.

The incident occurred at 10:43 a.m.

Paramedics responded and the man was pronounced dead on location at 11:15 a.m.
