New Jersey students invite veterans to breakfast

In honor of Veteran's Day this Sunday, students and teachers at one local school invited veterans to their cafeteria for a breakfast celebration!

Each year, students and staff at Saint Michael's Regional School invite veterans to come to their school and be recognized for their sacrifice and dedication to the service of the United States.

More than 30 veterans attending Friday morning's breakfast, where they sat and ate with young students before heading to a mass where they were honored.

Veterans in attendance were had served in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Desert Storm.

FOX 29's Sabina Kuriakose stopped by the breakfast this morning to talk with students and veterans about what the event meant to them.
