Two gunmen sought in robbery, shooting in West Philadelphia

Police are looking for two gunmen in a morning robbery and shooting in the West Philadelphia on August 28, 2016.

The incident occurred at 5:47am, when the victim, a 57 year-old male, parked his vehicle at 49th & Lancaster Avenue. He was than approached by two unknown males armed with handguns.

When the victim ran toward Kershaw Street he heard several shots.

After falling to the ground on the 4900 block of Kershaw Street, police say the suspects took the keys to the victim's vehicle and fled back towards Lancaster Avenue.

When the victim returned to Lancaster Avenue he noticed his vehicle was gone. A short time later the victim was informed that his vehicle was on the 1500 block of North 56th Street and was later recovered by police.

Philadelphia Police describe the first suspect as a black male, 5'10" light complected, wearing a white t shirt, armed with a handgun and the second suspect as a black male, 5'11", dark complected, wearing dark colored clothing, blue bandanna covering his face, and armed with a handgun.
