Police investigate overnight shooting in South Philly

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating following an overnight shooting in South Philadelphia that left one man injured.

Officers responded to a reported shooting on the 700 block of McKean Street around 5 a.m. Sunday morning.

Upon their arrival, police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

The victim was transported to the hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

This is an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made at this time.
