Police: Man, 36, shot and killed while sitting in truck in Olney

OLNEY (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a man was shot to death while sitting inside his truck in Olney.

Officers responded to North 5th Street and West Loudon Street around 3 a.m., where they found a 36-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say the man was ambushed by someone in another vehicle who pulled up behind him and shot through the passenger window. At least 16 shell casings were recovered from the scene.

A nearby row home was also struck six times. No injuries were reported.

Authorities have yet to identify the victim.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
