Police: NJ man charged with fatally stabbing wife

A man has been charged with fatally attacking and stabbing his wife Saturday night at their Pemberton Township home.

Officers were called to Cochita Trail around 10 p.m. for a report of a woman screaming for help. When they arrived, officers found 59-year-old Kenneth Arsenault on top of his wife on the ground outside their home.

Lorraine Arsenault, 61, was transported to the Lourdes Emergency Department at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, where she was pronounced dead just before 11 p.m.

Kenneth Arsenault has been charged with murder and weapons offenses. He currently awaits his first court appearance.
