Police release more information after man dies in Kingsessing shooting

KINGSESSING (WTXF) - Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Sunday morning in Kingsessing.

The incident occurred at 52 nd Street and Woodland Avenue at 5:12 a.m.

When police arrived to the scene they found the male victim - who they are referring to as John Doe - seated in the front passenger seat of a Chevy Uplander, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
