Police: Suspects sought after man attacked, robbed in Fishtown

Police are investigating after they say a 20-year-old man was attacked and robbed in Fishtown.

The incident took place at 10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27. The victim was walking down the 1600 block of East Berks Street when he was approached by three unknown black men and an unknown woman, who walked up from behind, punched him in the head and knocked him to the ground.

Police say the victim attempted to flee the scene, but the suspects ultimately caught up with him, attacking him again. The female suspect reportedly took the victim's wallet and a Samsung phone before the group of suspects fled the area.

Surveillance footage of the incident has been released by police.
