RV carrying marijuana-laced candies catches fire on Delaware Memorial Bridge

NEW CASTLE COUNTY (WTXF) - Officials are investigating a fire on the Delaware Memorial Bridge.

According to fire crews, the incident was an RV fire.

'Weed World Candies' truck was traveling from Washington DC to Philadelphia.

The vehicle was carrying marijuana-laced candy.

5 employees were in the truck, they were not injured. About $60 to $70,000 dollars' worth of merchandise was lost.

No transports to local hospitals were made.
