String of burglaries investigated in Abington Township

ABINGTON, PA (WTXF) - Montgomery County residents are on high alert after a series of overnight burglaries this week in Abington Township.

Police say they are investigating three separate incidents where they say a suspect is sneaking through unlocked first floor windows while people were sleeping.

Investigators have not determined how many suspects may be involved in each incident. In all three incidents, a small amount of cash was taken and a laptop was taken from one of the homes as well.

Police ask that residents keep their windows and doors locked.
