SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police are investigating after a shooting left a woman in critical condition in Southwest Philadelphia overnight.
The incident happened around 4:45 a.m. on the 5200 block of Woodland Avenue.
Officials say two women were sitting inside an SUV when a man approached them and started talking. The man then opened fire through the driver side window, striking the 30-year-old passenger in the head.
The victim was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she is listed in stable condition.
The driver was uninjured in the shooting.
No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
