Woman struck by glass after shots fired in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY (WTXF) - One woman was injured - not by gunfire - after shots were fired in Atlantic City Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred just after 5:00 p.m. on the 1100 block of Adriatic Avenue.

Police say shots were fired and a bullet struck the window of a jitney bus.

Glass struck a female passenger on the bus, but she was not struck by gunfire.

She was treated on the scene. Police are searching for the suspect.
