PA Couple's Baby Gender Reveal Will Warm Your Heart

PERKASIE, PA (WTXF) - A Bucks County couple is warming hearts in the FOX 29 newsroom after sharing news about their baby on the way.

Todd Tobin and Ashley Gintowt recently discovered they are having a son during a family gathering last Saturday in Perkasie, just 35 miles north of Philadelphia.

The future parents had many reasons to celebrate. Ashley's mom just finished chemo therapy treatment, so family and friends came together for a fun-filled night not expecting news about the sex of Todd and Ashley's bun in the oven.

"We had our anatomy scan about two weeks before and thought it would be a good idea to have the ultrasound tech not tell us the sex and instead put it in an envelope," Ashley told FOX 29.

She later gave the task to Todd's brother Shane to plan the reveal.

"We thought what better time to share the news then in front of everyone at my mom's party. Shane then filled up four water guns with either blue or pink paint and gave them to the four grandparents to be," she recalled.

Todd and Ashley put on painters suits and closed their eyes while loved ones sprayed. Everyone immediately cheered as the paint revealed blue for a baby boy.

The couple will name their son after Todd. He is the first grandson on his father's side of the family sharing the same name as his grandfather. The little guy is expected to arrive on November 8.
