Police: 3 sought in North Philadelphia robbery, 2 armed

Police are searching for three men wanted in connection to an armed robbery in North Philadelphia on Dec. 7.

According to authorities, two men entered Joaquia grocery store located on the 1600 block of East Tulpehocken Street armed with handguns. One of the men allegedly demanded money from the register, while the other held a customer at gunpoint.

The suspects took $250 from the register and fled the scene in a white Dodge Ram, per reports. Authorities say the suspects were last spotted traveling east on Tulpenhocken Street.

Police describe the gunmen as wearing dark colored masks and hooded sweatshirts with thin to medium builds. The third suspect is described by authorities as wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Police have warned the public to not approach the suspects.
