UPDATE: Missing Upper Darby woman found safe

- UPDATE: Upper Darby police say a 29-year-old woman who was reported missing earlier this week has returned home and is safe.

A 29-year-old Upper Darby woman hasn't been seen since she abruptly left work in Center City last Thursday.

"I love Hope so much and she's so loved here. There are so many people looking for her right now,” said Christopher Meussner. He wants desperately to find his 29-year-old daughter Hope Meussner missing since Thursday of last week.

"It’s just been torture. Just wracking our brains to figure out if there's any clues that we've missed," he said.

The question is what happened that made her suddenly leave work early and vanish from one of the busiest parts of the city at 17th and JFK.  Co-workers say she changed out of her work clothes approximately 15 minutes before closing and about an hour before she would normally leave the Corner Bakery where she's worked for a year now.  Her mother who she lives with in Upper Darby called Christopher the next morning to say hope never came home.

"This is the first time Hope has never come home after work or has not reached out to us being gone for a day let alone several days," said Christopher.  He says he was told Hope's purse was gone but her cellphone was left behind in the bathroom of her job.

"It's literal torture just wondering what to do," he said.  The family has also called on Missing Person Investigator Kevin Ryan for help.

"There's nothing that we have come up with in our investigation that shows she needed to take a few days away to clear her mind, there's no evidence of an abduction at this point or suicide. There's nothing to say that," said Ryan.  The family says they're putting faith in Upper Darby Police who tell me today they began checking cameras at businesses like the Comcast Center and hotels in the area.

"Hope we love you. I love you. We want you to come home safe. We can’t wait to see you again," said her father.  Upper Darby Police say they're also waiting on Hope's credit card report.  But police say right now nothing indicates foul play but it's a big concern that she just disappeared with no past history of drugs or a criminal record.
