Serious injuries after rush hour accident on Kennett Pike

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A two vehicle accident during the morning rush hour has sent three individuals to the hospital and Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.

Three individuals are in Christiana Hospital with serious injuries after an accident September 29 a little after 7:15 a.m., according to officials.

Delaware State Police conducted an initial investigation and found that the crash occurred on Kennett Pike (Rt. 52) approximately 1 mile north of Hillside Road. Two vehicles were involved.

Kennett Pike has since reopened. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
