Sinkhole causes problems for drivers in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WTXF) - A sinkhole in Kensington caused major problems for drivers Thursday night when it opened in the middle of a street.

The hole opened in the middle of East Clearfield Street at Frankford Avenue.

Unfortunately the Water Department wasn't able to get it blocked off before several cars drove into the hole. The drivers were eventually able to get their vehicles out.

The hole has been covered until repairs can be made.
