"It was just the cutest moment ever," said Michele Marinaccio. She says it happened just as they closed the bakery the night of March 30.

"I saw the guy I was like oh my God he fell and I was like I hope he's ok to my other coworker and next thing you know I see her crying," said Marinaccio. But the groom wasn't sick. He was popping the question.

"I see him pull out the ring and I'm like 'Oh my God.' We run out there and tell her say yes. Say yes," Marinaccio recalled. Workers asked to take the couple's picture before they took off. AJ Isgro later posted it asking the bakery's Facebook followers to help identify the couple.

"We got 50,000 views on the Isgro webpage just from that post alone and from people sharing it. It was unbelievable. Then in 4 hours we found out the name of the girl who got engaged out front," said Isgro. AJ says it was his father's idea to take this a step further and offer the couple a wedding cake.

"For it to be this momentous of an occasion your engagement and chose the front of our store I can't even put it into words. It's a tremendous honor," said Isgro.

The bride and groom-to-be are ecstatic.

"It's kind of cool. People are excited and I think it turned out great. It's good news. It's fun news to share," they agreed.

Eric D'Aprile says he and his fiance live near the bakery and they're customers. He says it was perfect for the big moment on their way to another place where they met on a blind date two years ago.

"I thought why not do it here. It smells great. It's got a great light so she can see the ring," said D'Aprile.

"I kind of blacked out a little bit. He was like Anna you have to answer a question. Then I said yes," said Anna Menard. As for the complimentary cake they're getting from this south Philly staple?

"We were like that's amazing. It's going to be a really good cake. We're really excited," said Anna.
