The music of Bach performed in Center City for SEPTA riders

SEPTA riders were treated to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach Saturday.

To celebrate the classic composer's music, Cellist Dale Henderson, the founder of Bach in the Subways, performed live inside the 15th Street Station Saturday afternoon.

Henderson founded Bach in the Subways in New York City in 2010. He loved Bach's music and wanted to pass that love on. To celebrate Bach's 326th birthday in March of 2011, Henderson invited other musicians to join him. By 2016, thousands of performances were given in hundreds of countries across the world.
