Where to get a Philly cheesesteak in New Orleans

Less than 48 hours to go until the Philadelphia Eagles vs. the New Orleans Saints. On Friday, Swoop and the Eagles Cheerleaders headed out to New Orleans. Fans are already painting the town green.

There's only one place in 'The Big Easy' an Eagles fan can get a Philly cheesesteak. Mike Casey owns Liberty Cheesesteaks in New Orleans. The Delco native grew up in Upper Darby and used to bring cheesteaks on a plane to his college buddies here in New Orleans. Now, he and his college buddy own what has become the unofficial Eagles bar in New Orleans.

Liscio's rolls are flown in straight from New Jersey. He is bringing a little of home to New Orleans.

"New Orleans is a small town. It's a city of neighborhoods much like Philadelphia," Casey explained.

It's not just cheesesteaks.The store sells more Yuengling beer than anyone in the state of Louisiana. Many of his customers are Philly area transplants always craving a taste of home.
