Philadelphia police: We'll be ready for Super Bowl Sunday

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross says police are ready if there is any trouble during Super Bowl Sunday celebrations.

Ross encourages people to have a good time, but to keep the fun in check.

He says he won't reveal their tactics, but even more police will be on the street on Super Bowl Sunday, and they will have outside help.

"We will be out there. We've got a significant plan, working in conjunction with other city agencies, as well as some state and federal partners as we always do. And we will do everything possible to keep this city safe, property and people."

Ross compared the event to when the city hosted the Democratic National Convention in 2016, saying officers will be ready if trouble arises.
