Sixers clinch first playoff spot in six seasons with Pacers' victory

For the first time since the 2011-2012 season, the Philadelphia 76ers will be in the postseason.

The Sixers did not play Sunday, but they clinched a playoff spot thanks to the Indiana Pacers beating the Miami Heat.

The sixers are currently 4th in the Eastern Conference and have won six straight games.

Coach Brett Brown said that Philadelphia isn't going to be an easy out, or a team that opponents will relish facing, in the playoffs.

"We have accumulated some firepower," he said. "If we can keep moving forward, I wouldn't want to play us. We can be dangerous."
