Weather Authority: Heat Advisory Wednesday; oppressive humidity
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Philadelphia area is slated for a hot and humid Wednesday as a Code Red remains in effect.
A Heat Advisory is in effect from 12 p.m. through 8 p.m. in the following counties: Berks, Bucks, Burlington, Camden, Chester and Delaware.
A Heat Advisory is also in effect through 8 p.m. in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties.

Oppressive humidity is expected, with real feel temperatures in the triple digits. A stray shower or thunderstorm is also possible Wednesday.
Temperatures will remain in the 90s through Thursday. A dramatic shift is expected by the weekend, with a high of 80 degrees anticipated Friday. Thunderstorms are also possible Thursday and Friday.
