Weather Authority: Sunny skies ahead of potential wintry mix mid-week

Sunday's forecast calls for plentiful sunshine, with a high of 50 and mostly clear skies. Forecasters are still keeping an eye on the next storm system, however, which could affect the region mid-week.

FOX 29's Scott Williams predicts the storm will present a glancing blow to the region as the storm moves further south.

Impacts appear to be minimal at this point, with New Jersey slated for rain and Philadelphia slated for minor grassy accumulations during a window of Tuesday through Wednesday.

The greatest chance for snow accumulation is expected south and west of Philadelphia.
