Nor'easter brings high winds, white-out conditions, flooding
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A nasty Nor'easter brought strong winds, near-whiteout conditions and flooding to portions of our viewing area Friday, resulting in power outages as well as problems on the roads and rails.
A high wind warning remains in effect until 6 a.m. Saturday.
The Streets Department treated the primary streets in problem areas, with over 40,000 tons of salt. Crews have already been out in the city's northwest and are treating bridges and hills in other areas.

FOX 29 Meteorologist Scott Williams says peak wind gusts were around 70 mph Friday afternoon at the shore in the Poconos and even in Wilmington, Del.--resulting in power outages across the area.

SEPTA joined Amtrak in announcing suspension of service on some train lines Friday afternoon. PHL says more than 400 flights have been canceled.
