Pennsylvania State Police are conducting a homicide investigation after a 52-year-old man was shot and killed inside a Northampton County home Saturday morning.

Troopers from PSP Belfast responded around 8:53 a.m. to a residence in the 100 block of Spring Street in West Easton Borough following reports of a shooting.

Investigators determined that a 52-year-old resident was shot and killed inside the house after a confrontation involving two other people inside the home.

State police stated that there is no active threat to the public.
