Outdated FAA systems blamed as PHL, other airports hit by massive travel delays

Philadelphia International Airport is returning to normal after hundreds of flights were grounded Monday when a primary communications circuit failed, according to officials. Flights at several major airports across the region, including New York City, Newark and Philadelphia, were impacted after a backup fiber optic line was also cut by a construction crew in New Jersey.
