Welfare check leads to fire, death of man in Berks County

A welfare check at a home on Hollywood Ave drew a large response from police, fire and emergency workers after the situation turned dangerous, according to officials. Authorities said a man believed to be 45 or 46 years old was found alone inside and died by suicide.
