Grants help Black families buy or keep homes in Germantown

A local family realized their dream of homeownership with support from a unique reparations initiative, according to organizers and recipients. The Green Street Friends Meeting and birdSEED, a national nonprofit, are offering grant funding to help Black families buy homes in the Germantown area.
